Biography
Samuel is a Goth, through and through. Although known as a hard-working, ambitious man, Samuel also has a bit of an insane streak. Most people attribute this streak to his sudden marriage to a woman much younger and poorer than he. Samuel hasn't let his death from his favorite snack slow him down – he's still as ambitious as ever. He likes to attend events around town to make sure people know that even though he's less than corporeal, he's still an important part of this town. He met Helen at a psychic convention, and the two quickly became very good friends. When Samuel learned Helen didn't have a place to stay, he offered her a room, a little to the dismay of Olivia.

Samuel Goth is a pre-made playable deceased Sim residing in Moonlight Falls, the world shipped with The Sims 3: Supernatural. He lives with his wife Olivia, his niece Frida, and his good friend Helen Hall, who is the only living member of the household.

He is considered a little eccentric by most of the townsfolk; they assumed this has sourced from his marriage to a much younger and poorer woman.

Samuel died after eating a magic jelly bean, his favorite snack. His distraught wife, distracted by her despair, accidentally electrocuted herself, and, in turn, caused a fire that killed Frida. While neither deaths are mentioned in Samuel's bio, they are mentioned in Olivia and Frida's.

Despite his death, Samuel is said to have retained his ambition, and frequently attends events in town so that people are aware he is still an important part of Moonlight Falls. He once went to a medium convention, where he met Helen. The two became friends, and when he learned that she had no roof to sleep under, he invited her to live in his manor, though Olivia was a little dismayed due to all the technology Helen brought with her.

Samuel is unemployed at the start of the game, and he has 6 skill points in logic. He is good friends with all of his household as well as Haley Sumari, the only person he knows outside of his household. He carries the book Zombies Ate My Plants in his inventory.

As Samuel is the uncle of Frida and Gunther, he is Victor's brother. This would make him the great-uncle of Mortimer and the great-great-uncle of Cassandra and Alexander. However, in the game, he and Frida aren't considered related and can even freely romance each other. This is because there is no Victor Goth in Moonlight Falls to tie them together as uncle and niece.

Samuel is one of the only men in the Goth family who does not have a first name ending with the letter 'R'. He shares the grumpy trait with a few family members, including his niece, nephew, niece-in-law and grand-nephew.

It is possible that Samuel is a reference to Humbert Humbert from the 1955 novel 'Lolita' by Vladimir Nabokov. Lolita Goth may have been his first wife, given the similarities between her and Olivia, and the possible influence from the novel.
