Salty's Riverboat is a lot within the district of the Sim Quarter in Miniopolis. It contains a casino that holds the minigame Moogoo Monkey. It is owned by Olde Salty, who moved to Miniopolis to run it after its previous owner, Pepper Pete, mysteriously disappears. In Mission 3, Goal 6, The Ballad of Pepper Pete, the player dresses up as Pete to stop Olde Salty from selling the riverboat to Daddy Bigbucks.

The outside of Salty's Riverboat, the part with the docks, the front of the boat, and the decks on the upper levels of the boat, is considered to be Salty's Riverboat proper.

Ammenities

If the player isn't already living in it, the sign the player uses to move into the First Mate's Quarters will be present near the entrance of the Riverboat.

Visitors

If an Urb is currently on Salty's Riverboat, they will respond to the phone with the following message:

Hi. I'm on Salty's Riverboat, enjoying the salty air. I'll be here <for a little while.>

Scheduled

Olde Salty is often seen on the front of the Riverboat, looking towards the docks. Gary Geezer hangs out on the docks for long stretches of time some days of the week. However, he'll never be anywhere in the boat. Giuseppi Mezzoalto is found on the dock as well, although he goes in and out of the Casino. Berkeley Clodd can be see on the docks in front of the riverboat while heading to and from the Moogoo Lounge.

Moogoo Lounge

The Moogoo Lounge (or Casino Lounge or Salty's Lounge) is a casino on the first floor of Salty's Riverboat. It is the home of the job minigame Moogoo Monkey.

Ammenities

At the northern part of the lounge, is a table with a robot that deals cards for the job minigame Moogoo Monkey. At the southern part of the lounge, is a blue chair that the player can sit in. Next to the chair, is a buffet. While the player cannot get food from the buffet, a strawberry can be found as a collectible within it.

Scheduled Giuseppi Mezzoalto is the Urb most frequently found in the casino, particularly whenever Moogoo Monkey is available (from 4pm-2am), but he can also be there in the mornings (5am-6am) before he heads to Urbania. He will be next to the Moogoo Monkey table. Berkeley Clodd is in the casino from about 3pm-7pm every day. He is closer to the bar. Olde Salty can also be found in the Moogoo Lounge at times.

Story Before Mission S, Goal 3, The Boys are Back in Time, Jack I. Deal can be found in the Moogoo Lounge at all times of day. Giuseppi will always be in the casino after the player plays a game of Moogoo Monkey in Mission 3, Goal 1, Mission for the Mann.

First Mate's Quarters

The The First Mate's Quarters is a residence within Salty's Riverboat. It's the smaller and cheaper option out of the two residences in the Sim Quarter.

Living in the First Mate's Quarters will make the player lose a Rep point with both the Nerdies and Streeties.

Captain's Quarters

The Captain's Quarters contains the top two floors of Salty's Riverboat.

Ammentities

The first floor of the Captain's Quarters has a green armchair that the player can sit in. Pepper Pete's parrot, named Pauly, can be found in the control panel in the back of the room.

After Mission 4, Goal 4, Running from the Law begins, a map to Paradise Island spawns on the top floor of the quarters. This map is meant to be given to Gordie Puck at the end of the mission, however it does respawn after collecting it. If picked up after respawining, it cannot be gotten rid of. There is also a ship wheel that can be admired by the player.

If an Urb is currently in the Captain's Quarters, they will respond to the phone with the following message:

Hey. I'll be stowed away Captain's Quarters <for a little while.>

Olde Salty is found in the Captain's Quarters at night. He will be found next to the white sofa.
