Russ Bear is one of the pre-made burglars in The Sims 2 who resides in Pleasantview and custom neighborhoods. The other two burglars are Jessica Ebadi and Gordon King. Russ can be made playable by marrying him or befriending and asking him to move in. He is characterized by dressing in complete burglar apparel. In addition to robbing residential lots, he may occasionally pass through community lots - like any other Sim.

Russ is mostly interested in food, politics and travel. When Pleasantview is loaded, his personality points, skills and interests are always the ones seen below. However, when he appears in every custom neighborhoods, his personality, skills and interests will be randomized.

Russ has the same facial structure as Amin Couderc.

It is possible that he sometimes appears under the name "Amin Bear". When opening his character file in SimPE, the label "N001_User00082 - Amin" can be seen.
