Romon Tanner is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Lucky Palms. He lives with his wife Aya and their two children Ethan and Yuna. Both of them are expecting their third child shortly at the start of the game. Romon is a famous chef in Lucky Palms who work as Chef du Cuisine at The Blooming Cactus Bistro. The Tanner family come from a long line of excellent chefs who are famous for their home-grown culinary skills. He is a four-star celebrity, famous for his cooking abilities. He met his wife when she interviewed him for her employer at the time, a prominent culinary magazine. They ended up falling in love with and married.
As the household bio says, Romon is enemies with Lennon Sosa, who is a pastry chef at The Blooming Cactus Bistro. Lennon is a 3-star celebrity and is said to have graduated from the prestigious Fromage Grille cooking school, where he learned his formal cooking skills as opposed to the 'home grown' culinary skills of Romon's family.
Romon is a natural cook, and he is ambitious to climb up his career in the Culinary career. His lifetime wish is to become the Culinary Librarian, which is to learn all recipes. He has eight skill points in cooking, five in gardening, two in charisma, one in handiness, and three in fishing. He also has the hidden Immune to Fire trait, which he passes down to his daughter, and possibly, his unborn baby. Oddly though, he lacks a trait.
As a celebrity, Romon has a lot of friends around the town. He is very sociable, possibly due to his charismatic trait. Like other Sims in Lucky Palms, he also has many distant friends, who in turn may be lost if they don't hang out together soon. He is friends with all his family members, his neighbor Walker Sparks, Sammi and Morgan Claremont, Kadia, Brayden and Abrielle King (who is his son's lover), Marisol Loera, Clark Bellamore, Roy Phillips, and Mariana Matlapin. He's good friends with Palmer Hayes. He is disliked by Lola Lancaster, who is Lennon's ex-girlfriend, which means that at the time when they were together, Lola was involved between Romon and Lennon's rivalry.
There's a deceased Sim in the Sunwest Graveyard named Astrid Tanner. Although she doesn't appear in the family tree, it could be implied that she is Romon's mother.
