- For other uses, see Romantic (disambiguation).
Romance is a skill introduced in The Sims 4: Lovestruck. Leveling up this skill allows Sims to unlock more ways to interact with their romantic partners and improve their relationships.
This skill unlocks an array of new romantic socials that have strong effects on relationships, and it also allows Sims to perform stronger romantic interactions earlier, making flirting much easier. At level 2, Sims unlock the ability to buy and share sweetheart boxes of snacks (such as chocolate truffles), which fills the hunger need and creates positive sentiments. At level 4, Sims unlock the ability to perform dances with their romantic interest to seduce them, and at level 5, they unlock the ability to WooHoo for extended periods of time without getting tired.

Trivia[]
- Romance as a skill originally was supposed to be in The Sims 2 but was scrapped, and The Sims 4 early in development was intended to have a WooHoo skill but it was also scrapped due to fears of ratings and suggestiveness. So this skill can be seen as a finally realized version of both those ideas.
