River Pons is one of the pre-made NPC newspaper deliverers who resides in Riverblossom Hills, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Seasons. The other two newspaper deliverers are Robin Wheeler and Sheldon Scott. He can be made playable by befriending him and sending him to college^[TS2:U], or aging him up with another teen if FreeTime is installed.

River looks identical to Derek Vijayakar, a newspaper deliverer from Pleasantview, except that River has thick eyebrows, while Derek has combed eyebrows. They both have the same facial structure as David Thompson and Komei Tellerman. River has blond hair, green eyes, and light skin.

His Aspiration is Knowledge, and his zodiac sign is Pisces. As far as personality, River is very active, somewhat neat, and a little bit playful. But he is quite shy, and a bit grouchy. When it comes to his skill points, River is close to maximizing the cooking skill, and is halfway towards maximizing the mechanical, charisma, and creativity skills.

He is mostly interested in Money, Travel, Work, and Sci-Fi. Unusually for a pre-made NPC, River has the memory of meeting another NPC, as well as having a pre-set relationship with her. What is even more unusual is that Valerie is a carpool driver and thus, she can not be interacted with.
