Repairman Bruno is the only pre-made Repairman NPC in The Sims. He can be summoned by phone at any time, and will arrive shortly afterwards, even if the call is made in the middle of the night. He charges §50 per hour. Sims cannot interact with him in any way.
If Alfred the Butler is working on the lot, he will always call Bruno as soon as something breaks. If he has left for the night, he will call Bruno as soon as he arrives for work, meaning that sims who fix the broken items themselves will still be charged for calling him out.
Players should be aware that when he repairs televisions, he will slack off by watching them for some time. He will still charge money for the time he wasted. It's recommended to use Bonehilda or Servo if those options are acceptable for the player.
In The Sims (console), he is known simply as The Repairman. He lives in The Handyman's House with his son, Daz, and daughter, Mia. Since none of the family have any neat points, the house is very messy, and the player is tasked with cleaning it up.
Trivia[]
- Bruno and Brigit the Maid are the only NPC sims in The Sims to appear in both the PC and console versions of the game.
