Regan Capp is a pre-made playable Sim from Veronaville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2, and earlier in her life, Roaring Heights. She is the second daughter and child of Consort and Contessa. Her siblings include Goneril, Kent and the late Cordelia. Oddly, despite her father's memories and her return in Roaring Heights naming her as the second child, the family tree in Veronaville places her as third.

Biography

Life leading up to The Sims 3

In The Sims 3, Regan is a toddler with three days left before becoming a child. She lives with her parents Consort and Contessa, and her older sister Goneril. Her mother is currently pregnant with her third child. She has already learned all of her toddler skills at the start of the game.

Life leading up to The Sims 2

By the time of The Sims 2, Regan is married to Cornwall Dane. She, along with her husband and brother, Kent, make up a family that is ready to be played and starts out in the Family bin.

Regan and her husband have no children when the game begins. Their relationship is poor, and their daily relationship is under 60 points and the two are not in love and they have never been. Their family description suggests that the two are focused on their careers, but neither one of them is employed at the start of the game. When the family is moved on to a lot, Regan is 26 days from becoming an elder. She is voiced by Zoe Galvez.

As far as personality, Regan is very neat, somewhat active and a little bit nice, but she is very serious and shy. Like many of her fellow Capps, she is highly interested in Money. She also likes Fashion, Politics, Work and Sports. If she looks for a job in Business, she will usually start off at Level 5 as an Executive. If FreeTime is installed, her pre-destined hobby will be science.

The marriage of Regan and Cornwall was likely arranged, which could explain why they have a poor relationship and are not in love. Judging by Cornwall's personality, bio, and aspiration, he probably only married Regan for her money and to get a job in her family's business. If they are played, Regan and Cornwall will often autonomously fall in love due to their marriage.

While most playable Sims in The Sims 2 had their first kiss as a teen, Regan had her first kiss as an adult. Strangely, Cornwall has the memory of their first kiss as a teenager, even though he should already have been an adult at that time, since he is older than Regan. Regan also, unlike her siblings, has no memory of her mother passing away. These are most likely oversights by the game developers.

When editing in SimPE, Regan's zodiac sign is not recognized. This could explain why she doesn't have a zodiac sign mismatch in-game like most pre-made playable Sims from the base game do. Strangely, if Regan's appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop, she will be thin instead of fit. The reason for this is because she has the fitness texture for thin Sims instead of the one for fit Sims.

This implies that she was originally thin and her fitness level was subsequently modified with a program like SimPE. The only way for her to have the fitness texture for fit Sims without hacks is by having her overeat until she becomes thin, and then have her workout until she is fit again. This also happens with many other pre-made Sims in The Sims 2.

Regan is the cruel second daughter in King Lear. She is married to the Duke of Cornwall.
