Cause of death Drowning
World Sunset Valley

Ransom Clavell is a pre-made deceased Sim who resided in Sunset Valley, the world shipped with The Sims 3. He drowned as an adult and is buried in the Pleasant Rest Graveyard. He is the husband of Jennie, who also drowned and is buried next to him. He is also the father of Buster and grandfather of Xander. Since both of them were adults, it was hinted that Buster was orphaned as a teen.

In-game, Ransom is not listed as having been married to Jennie (if the player goes to the graveyard and asks him if he is single, it lists that his partner is none). This is because if a married Sim dies, they are automatically separated from their spouse.

Although Ransom's hair color appears to be brown, if his hair color is modified or if he is given a different hairstyle, his hair color will change to blond. It is unknown if this is a bug or if he dyed his hair brown.
