The Sims Castaway Stories
Queen Solomon

The Queen Solomon is a cruise ship in The Sims Castaway Stories. During the night, the ship crashes and eventually sinks. Jessica Knight, David Bennett or the player's customized Sim wakes up on a desert beach on Felicity Island and the game begins. Curiously, in the character's menu selection there is a female Sim assigned to the ship that looks exactly like Amaya Flores. A small yacht, Simplicity, is the equivalent of the Queen Solomon in the console version of the game.

Trivia[]

  • Celeste and Damien Girard from The Sims Pet Stories are said to have went on a cruise ship. This might have been the Queen Solomon, since the crash and sinking would explain why they never come back and aren't even heard from ever again. If this is the case, they probably died, since they're not among the survivors.
  • The story is very reminiscent of that of the infamous crash of the Titanic, with the ship sinking and most of the unseen Sims never coming back, including the previously mentioned Damien and Celeste Girard, never coming home.
    • The shipwreck also looks very similar to the Costa Concordia when it capsized and partially sunk after hitting a rock. However, the Costa Concordia sank in January 2012, four years after the release of The Sims Castaway Stories.
  • The name, the Queen Solomon, may be a reference to the infamously haunted Queen Mary ship. The name could also be play on King Solomon, the son of King David and the penultimate ruler of the United Monarchy according to the Hebrew Bible.
