—Pritchard Locksley, The Urbz: Sims in the City
|
Pritchard Locksley is an Urb residing in Miniopolis, from The Urbz: Sims in the City for handheld. He works as a film actor and waiter, and is a member of the Artsies.
Biography[]
Aside from Club Xizzle, Pritchard can be first encountered in Sim Quarter, just outside of the farmer's market while hovering around the graveyard. Just as with Berkeley Clodd, he used to work at the carnival as an ice cream scooper.
He has little relevancy throughout the beginning of the game, only given minor roles such as giving the player a beard when disguising as Pepper Pete. This changes however, as he becomes the host of a game show on Paradise Island during the mission Reality Show near the end of the game. Once the player arrives, they are immediately given a set of goals to complete to earn money; these tasks ranging from collecting coconuts for a trivia contest to insulting the other contestants to the point where they refuse to talk. Pritchard gives the player a small reward if they are able to outlast the other Sims in the area.
Simology[]
Interest | Dialogue | ||
---|---|---|---|
Talk about Aliens | I'd never play an alien, no matter what they paid me. I'm not covering up this sexy smile. Not a chance. | -3 | |
Talk about Art | Art is me! I am a work of art! Anyone who saw my small but vital role in the film "Hornet Head 3" would agree. | +3 | |
Talk about the Bayou | Is that what that mucky place is called? I thought it was the city sewer. Yuck. | -2 | |
Talk about Books | I'm reading a book on acting that claims the only way to get into character is to imagine what kind of underpants they wear. | +3 | |
Talk about the Carnival | Back before I was a famous actor, yes, I worked for the carnival. I played the very difficult "Ice Cream Scooper" role. | +2 | |
Talk about Cars | I used to own a lovely little car... but I sold it last month to pay for this haircut. | -2 | |
Talk about the Lounge | Odd as it sounds, the Casino is a great place to practice acting. It's very hard to pretend to not care about losing 1,000,000 Simoleons. | +3 | |
Talk about Miniopolis | This is my kind of town! I made it here, so I can make it anywhere! That's the idea anyway. | +3 | |
Talk about the Coffee Shop | The coffee shop is where I read most of my scripts, and consequently, where I do most of my sleeping. | +3 | |
Talk about Computers | Video game acting is the worst. All I ever do is yell "Get them!" and "Arrrgh!" for 10 hours. | -3 | |
Talk about Construction | Goodness no! I could never get into construction. I might hurt myself! Then I could only get "quirky neighbor" roles. | -3 | |
Talk about Cooking | When I wish upon a star... nothing EVER happens. What's the big deal? | -3 | |
Talk about Cosmos | When I was told to gain 40 pounds for my role in "The Elephant Man Returns", I ate pizza for every meal. | -3 | |
Talk about Crime | I wish this city had more criminals. Then I could do more research for my roles. | -2 | |
Talk about Dancing | For one audition they asked me if I knew ballet, karate, and break-dancing. I wonder what the film was about? | +2 | |
Tell a Bad Pun | Goodness! A bawdy, rollicking old tale. Don't repeat THAT one to your mother. | +2 | |
Talk about Excercise | Misty Waters over at the gym has me on a Hollywood exercise program. One day a week and trips to the plastic surgeon. | +3 | |
Talk about the Market | That's a great place to people-watch. I can sit for hours just staring at people, imitating them, and getting yelled at. | +3 | |
Talk about Home Decor | Comedy and tragedy are equally fascinating. I recommend you decorate your home with a reminder of their power. | +2 | |
Talk about Games | I recite warm-up phrases before going on stage. Tongue twisters like "Please don't forget your stupid lines Pritchard." | +2 | |
Talk about Graveyard | My mentor, Sir Laurence Pimento is buried there. He died on the set of his last film, "Jigsaw Man." May he rest in pieces. | -3 | |
Talk about Hobbies | I'm into yoga, clubbing, sleeping... basically anything that makes me forget who I am for a while. | +3 | |
Talk about Health | I'm not in the actor's union any more so I don't have health insurance! Not that I plan to get sick... unless a part calls for it. | -3 | |
Talk about Home | My home is humble, but cozy. Oh who am I kidding! My apartment is almost as arrogant as me! | -3 | |
Talk about Hygiene | The most important thing an actor can do is keep his mouth minty fresh. I never know who I'll have to kiss. | +3 | |
Talk about Jail | It's a rather dismal building isn't it? Did you know it used to be a day care? | +1 | |
Talk about the Law | I can't figure this out: to get in the actors union you have to have been in a big film, but to be in a big film you have to be in the union. What? | -3 | |
Talk about Jobs | If you want to get comfortable speaking before an audience, I would highly recommend signing up for Comic Explosion. It's held daily at Slice O' Life. | 0 | |
Talk about Simoleons | I don't act for the MONEY! How foolish! How petty! How dismal! No, I do it for the FAME. | +3 | |
Talk about Movies | Yes, that was me as Jojo in "Explosion: the Prequel", probably my most complex and challenging role to date. | +3 | |
Talk about the Museum | That worthless place doesn't pay tribute to people who really matter - actors, models, and generally beautiful people. | -3 | |
Talk about Music | A character's taste in music is very important. For example, my "Macbeth" was way into Drum-and-Bass. | +3 | |
Talk about Nature | Does art imitate nature, or nature imitate art? Quick! I need to know which side to take. | -2 | |
Talk about the Newspaper | Lincoln is a very kind critic. His last review of a play I was in said "Pritchard... is... in... this... play." Nice eh? | +2 | |
Talk about Ninjas | I've never heard of this "ninja" person. He or she should get a new agent. | 0 | |
Talk about Politics | What's with these actors who get into politics? Do they think they're citizens or something? | -3 | |
Talk about the River | I was in a celebrity bumper-boat race last year... what a terrible experience! Next time they'd better give me a boat. | -3 | |
Talk about Rep Groups | Of course the ONLY group in town with any sense of style are the Artsies. It's a pity nobody understands our work. | +1 | |
Talk about Shopping | Half the clothes I wear I buy from theater prop departments. You may see me wearing a crown one of these days. | +2 | |
Talk about Science | Science is taking an eerie direction. I think there's a conspiracy to replace all actors with machines... if it hasn't already happened! | -3 | |
Talk about Sleeping | My sleep schedule is a little erratic but it works. I sleep 4 hours a night on weekdays and 12 on weekends. | +2 | |
Talk about Sports | I was fired from my role as a television football coach after I asked where I could get a cheap bat and mitt. Drat! | -4 | |
Talk about the Supernatural | In a way, ghost stories are very positive, yes, because if ghosts DO exist then there is certainly life after death! | +2 | |
Talk about TV | My dream would be to star in a science-fiction soap-opera opposite a lovely blonde girl with a wooden stake. | +3 | |
Talk about Theatre | Thee-Ah-Tah! My first love! Oh why doesn't she call me anymore? | +4 | |
Talk about Travel | The best part of making films is getting to see so many wonderful and exotic places from the window of your trailer. | +2 | |
Talk about the University | I offered to start an acting program at the university, but they just asked me who I was and kicked me out. It's their loss. | -4 | |
Talk about the Weather | Miniopolis has the perfect environment for making films. It never rains here and there are very few actors besides me. | +3 | |
Talk about Work | Well yes, I am a waiter... but just temporarily. My real job is acting. I just haven't done it for a few... years. | +2 | |
Talk about the World | I can speak with almost any accent in the world... except the SimValley accent. Those people talk funny. | 0 | |
Annoy | Yes, I did play a carrot in that film about giant rabbits... stop reminding me! | -3 | |
Apologize | Try it again. Once more, with feeling! | +2 | |
Brag | That was pathetic. Do that move again, but this time with a limp. | -3 | |
Call Name | You must have me confused with someone else. I have never played a stuck-up pig faced idiot on stage or in film. | 0 | |
Cheer Up | You're right. So I didn't get the part. But how often does the chance to play a mentally deranged psychopath come around? | +3 | |
Complain | You are so right! This town is full of arrogant posers. Throw a rock and you'd hit one... hey, not at me! | +3 | |
Compliment | Lucky me, I get more handsome as the years pass. Who knows how hot I'll be at 80? | +2 | |
Entertain | Yes! That is an almost perfect imitation of Daddy Bigbucks. Very good! | +2 | |
Intimidate | Ah! Don't hurt me! Please don't hurt me! I'll do anything! I'll give you my autograph! Anything! | -2 | |
Insult | And you... wipe thy face thou lumpish beetle-headed canker-blossom! | -4 | |
Joke | No, no, no. Good grief. You told it wrong! The farmer owns a talking DOG. | -3 | |
Gossip | Just between you and me, I think that thrift store girl Phoebe is really into me. What do you think? | +2 | |
Give an Opinion | I agree! Film is truth, and truth is beauty, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It all makes sense! | +3 | |
Tell a Secret | I see... and that happens every time you run too fast? Odd. | 0 | |
Tease | Uh... no, of course my voice isn't this squeaky. I'm just doing a character for you... Jerk. | -2 | |
Cry | Beautiful! Beautiful! If I didn't want one myself, I'd nominate you for an award! | +2 | |
Rude Gesture | That's all wrong! Here, I'll show you how it's done. | -8 | |
Flirt | If musical words be the food of love, play on! | +3 | |
Jibba Jabba | Wait! Don't tell me... that was from Shakespeare's Henry the Fourth, Part 2, was it not? Brilliant! | +3 | |
Hug (Accept) | N/A | +3 | |
Hug (Reject) | Sorry but I can't hug you. Against union rules, I'm afraid. | -2 | |
Kiss (Accept) | N/A | +3 | |
Kiss (Reject) | Sorry but I only kiss people when I'm rehearsing with them. | -2 | |
Gift (Accept) | Ah! You like me! You really, really like me! | Varies | |
