Pet rocks are pet objects in The Sims 3: Pets, which Sims can pick up and cuddle. While the possible interactions with them are limited compared to minor pets, they do not need to be fed, and can remain in a Sim's inventory indefinitely without breaking loose.
They cannot bite Sims either, but have a small chance of falling down on and hurting a Sim's foot.
