Patina Wainscot is a pre-made Sim who can be downloaded from the Maxis Gallery page.[1] She is the protagonist of the reveal trailer for The Sims 4: Dream Home Decorator and a few short teaser clips. She also appears on the pack's boxart.
She has additional family members that appear in the trailer for Dream Home Decorator and the Gallery. She has parents named Nikia and Timothy, siblings named Bobby and Summer, and a niece named Leila.[2][3]
Patina also appears in the Spa Day refresh trailer getting her nails done and doing group yoga, although she has a base game hairstyle[4].
In promotional material for Dream Home Decorator, Patina is voiced by musician Kiera Please.[5]
Patina's first name refers to the real-life patina, which is usually a green film that forms naturally on copper and bronze by long exposure or artificially (as by acids). It is often valued aesthetically for its color.
