Pascal Curious is a pre-made adult Sim residing in Strangetown, who comes from a family of three boys and one girl, Jenny Smith, Vidcund, Lazlo and himself. His father, Glarn, also had twin girls Chloe and Lola (both alien-Sim hybrids).

Biography

Life leading up to The Sims 2

Pascal has black hair, wears big round glasses, a black shirt, blue-grey jeans and sandals. When the game begins in Strangetown, he has been impregnated by aliens after being abducted. His maternity garments are a blue shirt, light grey sweat pants and sneakers. Pascal is friends with Nervous Subject. When first played, he is 19 days from becoming an elder. He is voiced by Dave Boat.

Pascal is extremely neat and somewhat active, but he is extremely serious. When their lot is first played, his stomach may do the trimester "pop" even though Pascal is five hours away from giving birth; this is due to the lot being reset. He will often give birth a few Sim minutes after Vidcund returns from being abducted. Pascal and Brandi Broke are the only two playable base game characters who start out pregnant.

As a teenager, he lost a fight to General Buzz Grunt and got rejected by Circe Beaker for his "first kiss," which is why he's enemies with Loki Beaker, who is Circe's husband. However, despite his memories, Pascal and Circe have no relationship with one another.

His glasses are available in Create a Sim, but are normally only available for children. If they are removed, players cannot get them back without the use of cheats. According to Pascal's fitness bar, he is supposed to be fit. However, his body shape has not been changed, possibly due to him being pregnant. There is a possibility that Pascal's body shape flag will automatically be reset upon loading the Curious family.

If this happens, he will still be thin instead of fit if his appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop. The reason for this is because he will still have the fitness texture for thin Sims instead of the one for fit Sims. If his body shape flag is automatically reset, the only way for him to have the fitness texture for fit Sims without hacks is by having him overeat until he becomes thin again, and then have him workout until he is fit again. This may also happen with Max Flexor and Catherine Viejo.

Similarly to lots of other Strangetown natives, Pascal's relationship data for General Buzz, Loki, and Nervous contains hidden family flags. If the Curious lot and household are moved to a neighborhood besides Strangetown prior to the birth of Tycho, the birth will likely create an error message, entering an error loop unless Pascal is deleted.

Life leading up to The Sims 2 (PSP)

Pascal works as a scientist in the Laboratory in Division 47. He will give the player a task to find his missing alien son Tycho, and later finds out that Vidcund sold Tycho to the Dudes in Black.

Pascal's secrets from The Sims 2 for PSP:

• (Personal): Pascal claims to have been impregnated by aliens!
• (Intimate): Every time Pascal eats calamari, it reminds him of his mother.
• (Dark): Pascal has had a crazy itch since his abduction, which he just can't seem to scratch!
• (Proud Father): Pascal actually gave BIRTH to baby Tycho after he was abducted by aliens.

This Sim has an Air personality type in The Sims 2 for PSP.

According to the game's data, he's interested in Sci-Fi, Money, School, Travel, Weather, and, unlike his PC counterpart, Fashion.

Life leading up to The Sims 4

A version of the three Curious brothers was uploaded by Maxis to The Sims 4 Gallery in March 2019. Pascal once again lives with his brothers and, should The Sims 4: Get to Work be installed, all three brothers are employed in the science career. Additionally, Pascal is pregnant, although this time the baby is not an alien, even with Get to Work installed, and instead only inherits Pascal's genetics. His appearance remains generally the same, although his hair is shorter, and his glasses are dark tinted. His eye color also changed from dark blue to brown.

Strangely, in this version, Pascal's age is "younger" than his brothers. Players can use mods to correct this.
