Otis is a pre-made large male orphan dog who appears in every neighborhood that is updated with the secret sub-neighborhood Pets, which is shipped with The Sims 2: Pets expansion pack. He can be adopted by using the telephone to call the Pet Adoption Service. Otis is an adult Golden Retriever. He enjoys Weather, Playing, Spooky Things, Sleeping, and Toys. He has learned the commands Come Here, Play Dead, and Stay, and in terms of behavior, Otis is disruptive, hostile, filthy, and stays off beds.
Otis is named Baxter when viewing his character file. It is possible that he was originally meant to be named Baxter, but was renamed to Otis.
