Onsen bathhouse

The onsen bathhouse is a lot assignment introduced in The Sims 4: Snowy Escape. It has some similarities to spas in The Sims 4: Spa Day: upon entering the lot, Sims would change via lockers and shower before entering hot springs to relax. However mischievous Sims are able to enter the hot springs without showering - this is frowned upon by other Sims and the hot springs would become dirty much more quickly. Sims also tend to shower in their swimwear in onsen bathhouses.

Sutefani Onsen Bathhouse is the sole onsen bathhouse in Mt. Komorebi, located in the snowy Yukimatsu neighborhood. The lot is inspired by Japanese architecture, with amenities such as outdoor showers, vending machines, kotatsu tables and an outdoor hot springs. The type of this lot cannot be changed, presumably to ensure that there is always at least one community lot in Yukimatsu for Sims to visit so that they can embark on a mountain climb excursion to Mt. Komorebi Peak.
