Nova Curious is a pre-made Sim used for the "Stuck in Their Shadow" scenario added in Patch 134 of The Sims 4. She has a rival, Lewis Sancho, with whom she has a common objective: to become the "top dog" of their career.
Nova is a young adult and is 22 days away from becoming an adult. She has the Computer Whiz aspiration and works in the tech guru career at level four as an ace engineer. She has three skill points in mischief and programming, four in charisma, cooking and fitness, and six in logic.
She is part of the Curious family, and according to the scenario's dialogues, is cousins with Tycho. This means she may be the daughter of one of Pascal's brothers, Vidcund or Lazlo. She shares physical characteristics with the version of Lazlo uploaded to the Gallery by Maxis. They have the same eye shape and jawline, and although her hair is platinum blonde, her black eyebrows may indicate that her hair is dyed and that her natural hair color is black, which is Lazlo's hair color.
Scenario[]
According to the description of the "Stuck in Their Shadow" scenario and information gathered by being friendly towards Lewis, the two of them were childhood friends. They used to play with Nova's father's lab equipment, and once had a sleepover on a rocket ship. The two became rivals during their time at university, where Lewis overshadowed Nova with his skill in programming. The player can also learn that Tycho's appearance used to scare Lewis, and that Nova's favorite pizza topping is pepperoni.
At one point in the scenario, Lewis loses his job due to his personality and mistreatment of others, especially his rival Nova, and decides to go into business by himself. Depending on the player's choices while controlling Nova, she may or may not join Lewis in his quest to create an app and become an indie developer.
