After many years of marriage, including a daughter who has moved out to university, Jolanda and Gert are not seeing eye to eye as much as they used to. Much of their time is spent apart; while she looks after the main shop, he often handles the stalls at the local markets-where he's been noticed as particularly friendly with some of the clientele, at least according to the gossips. Can this couple reignite their passion, or is this love broken beyond repair?

Thankfully, she has her wife Dahlia there to support her-and provide an escape or two through her critically acclaimed, titillating romance novels.

With Seasons installed, Nordhaven features all four seasons. Spring and fall tend to have cool temperatures on sunny and cloudy forecast and occasional rainfall. Summers are characterized with warm and hot temperatures during sunny and cloudy skies with possible rainfall, although heat waves are normally never encountered. Winters can experience chance of snowfall and cold or freezing temperatures, although rain is also possible.

  • The architecture in Gammelvik is inspired by Gamla stan, Stockholm, Sweden.
  • The train station in Iverstad is based on the western entrance of Gothenburg Central Station in Sweden.
  • The mermaid statue in Iverstad is likely inspired by The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • "Nordhaven" is Swedish for "North seas", "Iverstad" is Swedish and Norwegian for "Eager city", and "Gammelvik" is Swedish and Norwegian Bokmål for "Old bay".
  • The name "Nordhaven" could be a reference to the Copenhagen neighborhood "Nordhavn", and the Norwegian word for "North habor"
  • The bay area going down into the water by the bridge looks to be inspired by the harbor area of Tjuvholmen in Oslo, Norway.
• The world features builds from four EA Creator Network members from Europe: Laireen, Eva Rotky, Kellyhartx, and Yohannabuilds. It is the ninth world to have all lots built entirely by Simmers and the eleventh world overall to contain lots built by Simmers.
