Strangely, she died while her daughters were children, yet her picture shows her as an elder. It is possible that Nighat may had the twins very late in the adult life stage, but it is also possible that she died before reaching the end of the elder life stage. Alternatively, it is possible that the [[Elixir of Life]] failed on her, causing her to age quickly. Since her family's gravestones are nowhere to be found, she has no ghost, and the cause of her death cannot be determined. - For the mother of the Caliente sisters in the alternate storyline, see Katrina Caliente.
Nighat Caliente (née Al Mahmoud) is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. She was the daughter of Tariq and Benazir Al Mahmoud, the wife of Flamenco Caliente, and the mother of Nina and Dina Caliente. Although Nighat is deceased when the game begins, she appears in the family tree of her twin daughters Nina and Dina. According to his daughters' memories, she died when they were children.
According to her SimDNA in SimPE, Nighat's hair was blonde before it turned grey, meaning that her hair must have been dyed for it to appear red in the pictures of the Caliente family storytelling images of her as an adult. She and her daughter Nina have similar facial features. According to her age data, Nighat had 26 days left in the elder life stage when she died. Like most pre-made deceased Sims from The Sims 2, she is completely unplayable without the use of hacks or third party programs, such as SimPE. Nighat seems to be of Arab descent. Her husband, Flamenco, could possibly be Spanish.
Strangely, she died while her daughters were children, yet her picture shows her as an elder. It is possible that Nighat may had the twins very late in the adult life stage, but it is also possible that she died before reaching the end of the elder life stage. Alternatively, it is possible that the Elixir of Life failed on her, causing her to age quickly. Since her family's gravestones are nowhere to be found, she has no ghost, and the cause of her death cannot be determined. Like Mama Lothario and Cornelia Goth, Nighat has an unused French braid hairstyle. She looks similar to Diane Pleasant, except that Diane's hairstyle is the French braid hairstyle that is available in-game.
Her daughters Nina and Dina appeared in Barnacle Bay, a store neighborhood for The Sims 3, but she does not appear on the family tree. She does not appear in The Sims 4, and is instead replaced with Katrina Caliente. However, since they are both mothers to Nina and Dina, some players believe that Nighat and Katrina could, in fact, be the same Sim. Attempting to recreate her and upload her to the gallery will result in an error message saying that her name is inappropriate and cannot be used.
