Nighat Caliente (née Al Mahmoud) is one of the pre-created, yet unplayable Sims featured in The Sims 2 as ancestors of playable, pre-created Sims. Though deceased when the game begins, she appears in the relationship trees of playable sims Dina Caliente and Nina Caliente, who are her daughters.

She resided, during her lifetime, in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods that ships with the game. Her husband was Flamenco Caliente, and she is the daughter of Tariq Al Mahmoud and Benazir Al Mahmoud, both of Pleasantview. According to her daughters' memories she died when they were children.

Pictures in the Caliente family album show Nighat with red hair as an adult. However, her genetics are for blond hair, so she must have dyed it. Her daughter Nina has very similar facial features.

Nighat seems to be of Arab descent. Her husband, Flamenco Caliente, could possibly be Spanish.

Strangely, she died while her daughters were children, yet her picture shows her as an elder. It is possible that she may had the twins very late in the adult life stage, but it is also possible that she died before reaching the end of the elder life stage. Alternatively, it is possible that the Elixir of Life failed on her, causing her to age quickly. Since her family's gravestones are nowhere to be found, she has no ghost, and the cause of her death cannot be determined.

Like Mama Lothario and Cornelia Goth, she has an unused French braid hairstyle. She looks similar to Diane Pleasant except Diane's hairstyle is a reverse French braid.

Her daughters Nina and Dina Caliente appeared in Barnacle Bay, a store neighborhood for The Sims 3, but she does not appear on the family tree.

In The Sims 4, she is not the mother of the twins since she is replaced by Katrina Caliente.
