Nighat Caliente (née Al Mahmoud) is one of the pre-created, yet unplayable Sims featured in The Sims 2 as ancestors of playable, pre-created Sims. Though deceased when the game begins, she appears in the relationship trees of playable sims Dina Caliente and Nina Caliente, who are her daughters.

She resided, during her lifetime, in Pleasantview, one of the neighborhoods that ships with the game. She is the mother of twins, Dina Caliente and Nina Caliente. Her husband was Flamenco Caliente, and she is the daughter of Tariq Al Mahmoud and Benazir Al Mahmoud, both of Pleasantview. According to her daughters' memories she died when they were children.

Pictures in the Caliente family album and her DNA show that Nighat had red hair as an adult. Her daughter Nina gets her red hair from her, and has very similar facial features.

Nighat seems to be of Arab descent. Her husband, Flamenco Caliente, could possibly be Spanish.

Strangely, she died while her daughters were children, yet her picture shows her as an elder. This could mean that she probably didn't died of old age. It is likely the Elixir of Life may have failed on her, causing her to age quickly. either that, or she may have had the twins very late into the Adult life stage. It is likely she drowned, got electrocuted, or died in a fire.

Like Mama Lothario and Cornelia Goth, she has an unused French braid hairstyle. She looks similar to Diane Pleasant except Diane's hairstyle is a reverse french braid.

Unfortunately her family's gravestones and are nowhere to be found.

Her daughters Nina and Dina Caliente apeared in Barnacle Bay the store neighborhood for The Sims 3, though her daughters are not related to her in the family tree.
