A nerd shop is a type of community lot and lot assignment featured in The Sims 3: University Life. It is where nerds usually frequent. Rebels and Jocks may also come to the nerd shop, but most usually show up as Hobby Shop Register staffers. Sims can also obtain job opportunities at these lots by looking at the noticeboard of any dorms. Pre-built nerd shops can only be found in Sims University, although the player can build and create a Nerd Shop in any home world.
Nerd shops usually contain comic book stores, arcades, video games, and a computer area.
The nerd shop opens from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM, and its happy hour is at 2:00 PM.
