Neighborhood 2 is a neighborhood that was introduced with The Sims: Livin' Large, and it was the first, and technically only, additional neighborhood to be added to the original Sims series. It's comprised of a single street known as Sim Lane and like the original Neighborhood 1 is said to be located in greater SimCity.

The neighborhood is identical to Neighborhood 1 and is built around a single road shaped like a square going up a large hill. A river runs through the area, and a wooden sign promoting "The Sims" is situated at the bottom of the map which displays the game's credits when selected. A small avenue connects Sim Lane to an another road. In The Sims: Unleashed, Sim Lane is incorporated into Old Town and comprises the upper-right-most quadrant of the expanded map, with the road that Sim Lane connects to revealed to be Elm Street. The large sign is relocated to an island much further down the river.

Unlike Neighborhood 1, there are only three homes here and one family: the Mashugas. The other two homes are a modern U-shapes house at 7 Sim Lane and a medieval-style manor at 1 Sim Lane.

In European and Asian locale versions of The Sims: Livin' Large, the houses remain the same, while the roads lacking sidewalks and road markings is the only difference, but only in the neighborhood screen, while the lots still includes road markings.
