MySims is a single-player sandbox game where the player helps build up a town by designing houses and furniture as well as collecting and gathering resources from exploring the world. This game is a spin-off of The Sims Series and is also the first in the MySims series, initially released in September 2007.

MySims' gameplay and artstyle was reminiscent of other Nintendo titles such as Animal Crossing and was praised for its unique artstyle and interactivity. Players are able to create their own character's appearance and style as well as utilize patterns for customizability from default choices or items the player gathers. A major part of the game's lore is Essence, a somewhat mystical kind of levitation magic only possible to use by a few chosen ones, allowing them to construct new houses with extreme ease.

MySims was originally released for Nintendo Wii and DS in 2007; PC and mobile versions in 2008 and 2009.

Cozy Bundle version[]

A remake of the Wii version of MySims was remastered for the Nintendo Switch as a part of the MySims Cozy Bundle in November 2024 which also included MySims Kingdom; this was further ported to Microsoft Windows with updated graphics in March 2025. Cozy Bundle added a Brazilian Portuguese translation of the game but removed the Dutch translation that was in the original release.

On November 6, 2025, Cozy Bundle was released for Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, and Mac via Apple Arcade.[2]

Wii[]

The Wii version supports Dolby Pro Logic II, a stereo→5.1 upscaling codec. Since the amount of PC games with Pro Logic II support can be counted on two hands, this makes the Wii version likely the only version of the game to support any form of surround sound.

Windows (Original release)[]

The Windows version adds support for HD resolutions, widescreen, and uncapped framerate.

Nintendo Switch[]

The Nintendo Switch version is known to support touchscreen to some extent.

Windows (Cozy Bundle)[]

The Windows release of Cozy Bundle is known to support for HD and 21:9 resolutions, and support for Xbox and PlayStation controllers (Presumably the Xbox One controller, DualShock 4, and later). The Steam version additionally added support for Steam Trading Cards in the April 2025 patch.
