She knew something was up the moment she moved to Moonlight Falls and hopes that by running for office she can shed some truth onto the town. Miriam Hoppcraft is a pre-made Sim who lives in Moonlight Falls, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 3: Supernatural. She is married to the scientist James Hoppcraft, and has a son with him named Alfred. When the family is first played, she is 10 days from becoming an adult.
Both Miriam and her husband hate the supernatural and cannot understand it. They love their son, yet they do not know that Alfred was accidentally turned into a fairy by the elderly Flora Goodfellow. The two parents are sure that everyone envies them for having such a well-behaved child, yet the two might have some really hard times ahead of them in dealing with their son's supernatural status.
Miriam was born in a puny town of roughly fifteen Sims, where everyone knew everyone, and she sometimes feels lost in the rather large Moonlight Falls. She is also rightfully convinced that some fishy and rather abnormal things are up in the town, and she hopes to be able to find out the towns secrets thanks to her career in politics. She is also said to hate when things change.
Miriam works in the politics career at level 6 as a local representative. She has 6 points in logic and 5 in charisma. She is BFFs with Crissy Rain, good friends with Chester Swain, Nicholas Wickerman, Patty Younan, Linda Rodgers, Suraya Younan, Annalove Ivy, friends with Dennis Younan, Peanut Ivy, Sophie Rodgers, Bailey Swain, Bryce Younan, her son, Daydream Ivy, Becky Younan, Jack Skipper, and her husband. She is distant friends with Rainflower Ivy. Despite being anti-supernatural, several of her friends are non-humans.
Miriam is similar to Sarah Newlin, a character from True Blood. The roots of her hair are darker than the rest of her hair which suggests that Miriam's hair was probably dyed.
