Michael Bell is a pre-made NPC residing in Henford-on-Bagley, the world shipped with The Sims 4: Cottage Living. He is not the most romantic Sim, as it has been heard that he had a very awkward date with Cecilia Kang, another local resident. He is the local creature keeper and does not live on a lot, but his cottage can be found in the forest in The Bramblewood and may spawn on other lots (such The Gnome's Arms) even if the sims in the current household have not met him yet.
Michael is an adult, 39 days away from becoming an elder. His overall role is to watch over the animals of the village, as he is surrounded by many wild birds, rabbits and foxes. As with the other special villager roles, the Creature Keeper has special abilities and interactions with player-controlled sims. These include:
- Offer Help With Errands
- Friendly > Have a Hendford Heart-to-Heart
- Friendly > Offer Finchwick Favor...
- Animal Clothing...
- Ask to Craft Animal Clothing... (requires Lama wool in the sims' inventory)
- Buy Animal Clothing...
- Trade berries... (He will give a blueberry, raspberry, or chocoberry in exchange for 2 of one of the other types of berries. For example, sims can give him 2 raspberries for a chocoberry)
- Friendly > Sell Foraged Plants (He will happily buy berries & mushrooms for a significant mark up, including prefect nightly mushrooms for $201 each)
- Currently, there's a bug where the player can offer to sell more than 10 items and will get the money for all those items, but only have 10 items removed from their inventory. Easiest work-around is to only sale 10 items at a time
