Meredith Lillard is one of the pre-made NPC bartenders residing in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. The other two bartenders are Samuel Shahan and Colin Straight. She may be invited to parties to serve drinks. Meredith is friends with Circe Beaker.
Meredith's aspiration is Knowledge, and her zodiac sign is Sagittarius. She is mainly interested in Culture and Fashion. Since Meredith is an NPC, her family relations are unknown. Like all bartenders, she can be made playable by befriending her and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Her interests are preset at the start of the game.
If FreeTime is installed, her predestined hobby will be sports, due to her active and grouchy personality.[TS2:FT]
Meredith shares the same name as an NPC gardener from Veronaville and a college student from Académie Le Tour. She has the same facial structure as Andrea Lind.
Even though Meredith has red hair, her SimDNA in SimPE reveals that her natural hair color is blonde. Strangely, because of a bug in FreeTime, Circe will be unable to call Meredith over the phone. This was not fixed in the FreeTime patch, but a mod to fix this can be found here.
While there is no family flag present in-game, when viewing Meredith’s relationship data towards Circe in SimPE, the family box will be ticked. Abhijeet Cho has the same issue.
Sometimes, if Meredith is made playable, her Plumbob will be inside her, instead of above her head. This happens with several other NPCs in The Sims 2.
In some languages, she has a placeholder biography and leftover text strings referring to the scrapped Big Boss scenario, which was previously part of the scripted event for the Beaker household. She may have inherited this data from a deleted NPC.
