The Mausoleum is a rabbit hole object found in The Sims 3.
Gameplay description
A Sim can get a part-time job there as a Mausoleum Clerk. Mausoleums are usually found on graveyard lots, but can be placed on any community lot.
A Sim can explore the catacombs within a mausoleum and find loot like books, death flowers, gold and varieties of Mysterious Mr. Gnome. Sims experience text-based adventures while inside the catacombs. Most Sims will gain a scared moodlet while inside the catacombs. Sims may also encounter monsters and bears that can attack the Sim, leaving them singed. There is also a possibility that if a Sim (without the Brave or Daredevil trait) is attacked they may die after a couple of minutes of leaving the catacombs. This is very rare, however. When a Sim that is not active dies in The Sims 3, and they share a strong relationship with the active family, a copy of their tombstone will appear stored in the mausoleum in their home neighbourhood. Sims can WooHoo in the mausoleum.
The mausoleum does not generate a map tag.
