Maurus Destraga is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Teigra, the father of Magdalena Contender (née Destraga), the grandfather of Isabel Baldwin (née Contender), and the great-grandfather of Sofia and Marcus Baldwin. He is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave.
Maurus has the Fortune aspiration and the Sagittarius zodiac sign. As far as personality, He is very active and quite playful, but he is very sloppy, quite shy, and somewhat grouchy.
According to Maurus' SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned gray. According to his age data, he had 18 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Maurus' facial structure is almost, if not identical to the 14th Maxis face template in Create a Sim. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However, he still has the memory of Magdalena's birth, as well as his granddaughter getting engaged and married.
