Marcel's hobby is Cuisine, though his predestined hobby is Nature, possibly due to developer error. This can be fixed, with a mod, such as the SimBlender. His wife has crossed the borderline to fatness despite her Fitness hobby, so his food is probably the reason, for this issue. Marcel's parents Henri and Amie Jocque are both deceased.
His fitness level indicates that he is supposed to be fit, but the correct body shape flag has not been reset. The game will eventually reset the correct flag that corresponds to Marcel's fitness level, unless he overeats.
When the family is first played, Marcel is 13 days from being an elder. Despite his career, and enthusiasm in cuisine, he has no interest in food. This is also reflected in his lifetime want, to work in the Intelligence career.
