Interaction includes to do "Brain Enhancement", "Find Test Subject", "Genius IQ", "Personality Program" and "Study Brain". Sims will occasionally use this machine to study their brain, which moderately increases their logic skill and academic performance. By enhancing the brain of a Sim, it instantly gives them a skill point in the chosen skill. After that, the machine is then set on cooldown, allowing only to study brain. Cooking, charisma, fishing, gardening, guitar, handiness, painting, photography and writing are the only available skills to choose from the menu. Find Test Subjects works as enhancing brain, except it is done on other chosen Sim that's on the lot. With the Genius IQ, the Sim receives a 12 hour Brain Boost moodlet that aids in classes and exams. The player can Personality Program one of the selected Sims to change their traits and full name. The machine can also backfire, frying the Sim that's using them and leaving them with the Singed moodlet.
As the version name suggests, this machine has all of interactions of the Level 3 upgraded 1.0 machine. The machine also features an option to remote view a Sim, be it known by the household or random from the world, which uncovers information about them (their traits, relationship status, etc.).

Sims in Communications major will receive this object. Interactions include to "Align Radio Dishes", "Conduct interview.." (with another Sim), "Report Campus Events" (or Worldwide Events if outside university) and "Run Advertisements".
Sims with the radio station can conduct an interview with another Sim on the lot. There is a chance of failure, which results in the Sim that's interviewed getting offended and slapping the interviewer. Interviewing does not appear to change the relationships of both Sims.
Sims by running advertisements can earn simoleons with it. However, that at times may lead to failure, with the game suggesting to do the other interactions before trying again.
