Lopita Alto is a pre-made Sim from Isla Paradiso, the new neighborhood introduced in The Sims 3: Island Paradise. She is the wife to Alfonso Alto. She lives with him and her step-daughter Ashley. When the family is first played, Lopita is 20 days away from being an elder. She has three skill points in charisma and four in scuba diving. She is rumored to have married her husband for money; her lifetime wish is to be a gold digger.
Originally she was listed as the biological mother of Ashley Alto, but after a patch following the release of Island Paradise, she no longer is listed as such. This is also the case for Rosemarie Collins, Persephone Han, Carolina Ichtaca and Linda Scott.
According to the bio of the Ojeda family, they have a daughter with the same name who is most likely her; however, they are not connected on Lopita Alto's family tree, and she is not acquainted with them. Additionally, despite the family descriptions and their bios mentioning that Lopita and Alfonso are married, they are just friends in-game.
