Loner is a social trait in The Sims 4. It conflicts with the insider, lovebug, outgoing, and party animal traits.

"These Sims become Happy when alone, do not receive negative moodlets when their social need is low, become Tense around strangers, and become Embarrassed more often by social rejection."

Attributes

• Loners find it harder to make new friends.

  

• Loners receive the "Enjoying Solitude" moodlet which gives +1 happy emotion when alone.

  

• Loners receive the "Stranger Danger" moodlet (+1 tense) if they are around strangers.
• Occasionally, when loners interact with other people, they receive the "Socially Awkward" (+1 embarrassed) moodlet, which resets the timer for every failed interaction of any kind.
• Loners never get a "Lonely" moodlet (+1 sad).

Wants

Sims will get the following 2 wants from the Loner trait

• Be Alone (25 satisfaction points) (you will have to earn the Enjoying Solitude moodlet to fulfill this whim)
• Stay On Lot for 8 Hours (25 satisfaction points) - "Why go anywhere else? Everything needed is right here." (Keep Sim in the same lot for 8 hours!)
