Laurel Lai is the wife of Gil Lai and the mother of Jonah Lai. She and her family live in Barnacle Bay. When first played, she is pregnant with her second child but isn't aware of it, however she does realize sometime after the beginning of the game. She has 6 points in the athletic skill. She is a very active member of the Barnacle Bay Community and acts like a kind person, but she has a well-hidden dark side. She has the hidden Burglar trait and the Kleptomaniac trait. Perhaps that's the "dark side" her biography refers to.
