Lainey Butler is one of the pre-made NPC gardeners residing in Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. The other two gardeners are Joy Toyonaga and Kent Grundstrom. She can be made playable by befriending her and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. She has the same facial structure as Danielle Fancey.
Lainey is a Family Sim with the Cancer zodiac sign. As far as personality goes, she is extremely neat, somewhat playful, and a little bit active, but she is somewhat shy and quite grouchy. When it comes to skills, she is halfway towards maximizing cooking and is over halfway towards maximizing body, logic, and creativity. She is mostly interested in Culture, Travel, and Work. Her turn ons/offs are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that she has no turn ons/offs. Often going unnoticed, she has 28 personality points instead of the usual 25.
Due to Gardeners not being hirable in The Sims Life Stories, as plants never need maintenance, Lainey will never appear in-game and is effectively an unplayable Sim.
