This spectacular import from far off Tuscan fields has one sole purpose: it makes "Nectar". There are many types of "Nectar", and many naturally occurring types of fruit nectar have been known to cause strange behavior in small furry woodland creatures. With A Pressing Feeling you'll no doubt taste the fruits of your labor, as well as the hard work and sweat that went into making them!

A nectar maker is included in World Adventures. It allows Sims to produce their own nectar and practice the Nectar Making skill. Nectar makers can be accessed or bought at the Nectary in Champs Les Sims. If bought on vacation it will appear at home in the family inventory.

Sims can operate the nectar maker by placing 10 fruits in the tub, squishing them with their feet, and then turning the wheel on the machine until it starts rattling. Once the machine is finished, Sims retrieve finished nectar bottles from the cabinet on the machine. This process takes around 2 hours or 3 hours with "Extended Nectaration". If the nectar maker breaks, it shakes, emits smoke, and pours purple puddle all over the floor. Sims can use these objects without buying them through the Champs Les Sims Nectary in Champs Les Sims.

'L'amour des fruits' is French for 'the love of fruits'.

This object has three recolorable channels.

Upgrades[]

The nectar maker can be upgraded with the Handiness skill. It can receive the following upgrades:

  • Unbreakable: Nectar Maker will not break.
  • Improved Pressing: One additional bottle per batch of nectar at the cost of overall quality.
  • Flavor Enhancement: Improves nectar flavor by 15%
