Knut Futa is one of the pre-created, yet unplayable Sims featured in The Sims 2. He resided in Strangetown, and previously worked as a delivery man. One house he delivered stuff to was that of Olive Specter. Although he is not buried on her lot, Olive still retains a memory of his untimely passing.
Although he appears to be an adult, the game does not recognize his age. As a result, the game thinks he is a baby and he acts like one. However he can not be interacted with, and the game will force an error on a Sim, if they try and interact with him. This can be fixed with SimPE or the Sim Modder.[TS2:NL] He also does not have a recognized in-game aspiration.[1] Instead, he has the hidden Power aspiration.
Despite Olive's memory of his death, the game does not properly recognize him as deceased. The necessary flags to mark him are not set correctly.
If Knut is added to a playable household using cheats, he will have a randomized personality, and his zodiac sign will be reset to whatever zodiac sign that corresponds with his personality. He may be fixed with SimPE by giving him the proper data, e.g. age, aspiration, sign and personality points, although there is no guarantee this won't corrupt the game.
When editing in SimPE, Knut's zodiac sign is not recognized. When attempting to open up Knut's DNA page, it will either appear blank, or it won't open at all. This happens with most of Olive's victims.
He shares the same facial structure as Johnson Pai.

Trivia
- A development image of the Specter graveyard shows the graves of Knut and Lou Thanasia on the lot, but they are missing in the released game.[2]
- The image also reveals Knut's original name was Berjes.
- Aging Knut to a toddler in-game will result in the game crashing.
