Kitty Curious (née Hogleg) is one of the pre-made, unplayable deceased ancestral Sims who resided during her lifetime in Strangetown, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. She was the daughter of Hamm and Annie Hogleg, the wife of Glarn, the mother of Jenny Smith and Pascal, Vidcund and Lazlo, the stepmother of Lola and Chloe Singles and the grandmother of Johnny and Jill Smith. Her name might be a play on the saying, "Curiosity killed the cat." Players cannot resurrect her without the use of hacks.

According to her sons' memories, Kitty died soon before Jenny's engagement, after Pascal had just aged to adult, and Vidcund and Lazlo were teens. However her daughter's memories state that she died soon after Jenny's engagement. Kitty's SimDNA in SimPE and the Curious family photos confirm that her hair was blonde before it turned grey. According to her age data, Kitty had 27 days left in the elder life stage when she died.
