Juliette Capp ( Listen  /ˈdʒuliət kæp/) is a pre-made playable teen Sim residing in Veronaville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims 2. She is the daughter of the late Cordelia and Caliban. Having been orphaned young, she lives with her grandfather Consort, her older brother Tybalt and her younger sister Hermia. Her cousins are Miranda, Hal, Desdemona and Ariel. Juliette is secretly dating Romeo Monty despite their families holding a brutal feud that has caused the deaths of family members from both sides.

The birth order of Cordelia's children is not consistent. According to the memories of Juliette, Tybalt and Hermia, Juliette would be the oldest of the trio based on how old they were upon their parents' untimely deaths. However, her grandfather's memories place Juliette as Cordelia's youngest. One of the storytelling images for the Capp family shows Tybalt as a child and Juliette as a toddler, thereby making Juliette either the youngest or the middle child but not the oldest. Moreover, her in-game age places her as the middle child.

When the Monty household is first played, the player is prompted by a text box to have Romeo invite Juliette over. If done, she will arrive along with Tybalt and insult Romeo's older brother, Mercutio. The insult will trigger a fight between Mercutio and Tybalt, which will likely end in Mercutio's defeat due to his disadvantage in body skill points. After the fight, regardless of the outcome, Romeo will lecture Tybalt, who will then kick the outdoor flamingo decoration before leaving.

Meanwhile, when playing the Capp household for the first time, Romeo will be over, and Juliette will have a want to Go Steady with him. If the player chooses to fulfill it, Consort and Tybalt are supposed to become hostile towards Romeo as part of the scripted event; however, due to an oversight, every unmodified copy of Veronaville contains a token that stops the game from correctly running the script. This token can be deleted using SimPE, following this tutorial.

Juliette and Romeo appear to be childhood friends, as seen in one of the family photos, but they might not pair well due to their conflicting aspirations; while Juliette is a Family Sim, Romeo is a Romance Sim, and their wants tend to clash because of this. For example, when the game starts, Romeo will usually have the want to flirt with Juliette's sister Hermia and the fear of Going Steady, contrasting with Juliette's want to Go Steady with him. The player might want to change either his or Juliette's aspiration in order to allow for a happier relationship.

Juliette has light skin, grey eyes and long, straight red hair. She wears a blue halter top, a pink denim skirt and beige boots. When first played, she is 9 days away from becoming an adult. She is voiced by Thessaly Lerner as a teenager and Zoe Galvez when she becomes an adult. If FreeTime is installed, her predestined hobby will be games. She is mistakenly set to level 4 of her career despite being an unemployed teenager. This can be seen with SimPE.

Even though Juliette's backstory indicates that she is against the family feud, she is enemies with Bianca Monty. She also has negative daily relationships with Patrizio, Isabella, and Mercutio Monty. Strangely, if Juliette's appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop, she will be thin instead of fit. The reason for this is because she has the fitness texture for thin Sims instead of the one for fit Sims. This will become more apparent when she grows into an adult.

This implies that she was originally thin and her fitness level was subsequently modified with a program like SimPE. The only way for her to have the fitness texture for fit Sims without hacks is by having her overeat until she becomes thin, and then have her workout until she is fit again. This also happens with many other pre-made Sims in The Sims 2.

Juliette is named after Juliet, a titular character in the famous Romeo and Juliet. Despite being betrothed to Count Paris, Juliet Capulet falls in love with her enemies' son, Romeo Montague. She fakes her death in an attempt to escape her marriage and reunite with her beloved, but a misunderstanding puts a tragic end to her plans and the lovers' lives.

Datamined Information

Juliette Capp appears to have overwritten the character file of a Sim named Kelly. Kelly is referred to as N005_Us��er0à2 - @�*áKelly_ob�Rj within the lot data of the Veronaville Market, whilst Juliette is referred to as N003_Us� er0ã2 - Juliette_obj within the lot data of Capp Manor and 71 Bard Boulevard.

Interestingly, both Kelly and Juliette seem to have an extremely old data file. They are the only Sims in Veronaville whose character files contain two numbers and a letter after "User", the default being "User" followed by a sequence of four numbers (e.g. User0012). This has led some players to believe that Kelly was one of the very first Sims ever created for Veronaville, possibly when it was Europa or even earlier.

Veronaville is also a community lot, whilst all the other N005/3 data has been recovered from residential lots.
