Jenny Smith (née Curious) is a pre-made adult Sim living in Strangetown in The Sims 2 for PC/Mac and PSP. She also appears with her family in the The Sims 4 Gallery.

Biography

Life leading up to The Sims 2

Jenny is the daughter of Glarn Curious and Kitty Curious, and the older sister of the alien-obsessed brothers: Pascal Curious, Vidcund Curious, and Lazlo Curious. Although Jenny is the oldest sibling age-wise, Jenny's thumbnail shows her in the family tree as the youngest sibling. Jenny is voiced by Gerri Lawlor.

She shares some of her brothers' alien affection, which is apparent through her marriage to a retired alien pollinator: Pollination Tech#9 Smith, who happens to be her father's abductor. She and Pollination Tech#9 have two children, a teenage son Johnny and a child daughter Jill. Through her marriage, she is also a step-mother to her half-sisters, Lola Singles and Chloe Singles.

Unlike her brothers who have the Knowledge aspiration, she is a family Sim. Despite that, the only toddler skill she has taught was teaching Jill to walk.

Aside from devoting herself to her family, Jenny also works in the Medicine career track as a nurse. However, her salary is the family's only income, as retired Pollination Technicians do not draw a pension. When the family is first played, Jenny is 5 days from becoming an elder. At the start of the game, she is using a paid vacation day to attend Johnny's birthday.

Jenny's favorite color is green. Indeed, the color is persistently present in her life. Her current outfit, her husband, her clothes in the wardrobe, and her eyes are all green or have elements of green. Even in the storytelling images for the Curious family, she is seen wearing green clothing.

Jenny bears little-to-no physical similarities to the rest of her family outside of her blonde hair color. Jenny has light skin, green eyes and a remarkably different facial appearance. Even within her own immediate family, none of her full-blooded siblings share the same eye color; Vidcund and Jenny have the recessive eye colors (light blue and green respectively), while Pascal and Lazlo have dark blue and brown eyes respectively.

There is an early Strangetown trailer featuring the Grunts and the Smiths. Although Jenny is voiced by Gerri Lawlor in-game, the trailer uses the teen voice actress, Thessaly Lerner.

Life leading up to The Sims 2 (PSP)

In The Sims 2 for PlayStation Portable, Sinjin Balani states that Lazlo Curious is his cousin. Normally, this would make Sinjin Jenny's cousin as well. However, the game makes no mention of a familial connection between the Curious siblings and Jenny.

According to the game's data, she's interested in Food, Entertainment, and, in contrast to her PC counterpart, Money and Sci-Fi.

Jenny's secrets in The Sims 2 (PSP):

• (Personal): Jenny loves the smell of Napalm. It reminds her of her dad.
• (Intimate): Jenny says kissing her husband is like eating spinach... it's green and messy.
• (Dark): Jenny's feet are actually flippers, but she paints them to look like real feet.
• (Nocturnal Investigation): Jenny admits to you that her husband leaves every night to search the crashed UFO.

Life leading up to The Sims 4

A version of the Smith family was uploaded by Maxis to The Sims 4 Gallery in March 2019. Jenny lives with her husband and two children and, should The Sims 4: Get to Work be installed, she works in the medical career. Her appearance remains generally the same.
