Jason Cleveland is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He lives in an apartment with his wife, Marissa, and son, Justin. Jason has the Fortune aspiration and the Capricorn zodiac sign. Like his wife, he wishes that Justin would become a bit more responsible; however, he doesn't go to the extreme that Marissa goes to.
Despite his marriage to Marissa, Jason has a preference for males at the start of the game: 0.1 for males and 0.0 for females. He is 8 days from becoming an elder and resembles Nathan Gavigan. If FreeTime is installed, Jason will have 1 point of enthusiasm for Fitness, and his predestined hobby will be sports. He is the only pre-made playable Sim in The Sims 2 to work in the law enforcement career. This excludes Trent Traveller as he had quit, and his bio actually stated that he worked in the law career. Jason is voiced by David Boat.
Strangely, if Jason's appearance is extracted with SimPE to Body Shop, he will be thin instead of fit. The reason for this is that he has the fitness texture for thin Sims instead of the one for fit Sims. This implies that he was originally thin, and his fitness level was subsequently modified with a program like SimPE. The only way for him to have the fitness texture for fit Sims without hacks is by having him overeat until he becomes thin, and then have him work out until he is fit again. This also happens with many other pre-made Sims in The Sims 2.
