Jake Fielding is a large male dog owned by Otis Fielding from Garden Heights, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Pet Stories. He is an adult Redbone Coonhound and does not wear a collar. Jake and his owner Otis are homeless and live on the streets. Jake first appears in the Best in Show story accompanying Otis, when he first pays a visit to Alice Whitt to teach her "The Way of the Paw". Otis also reveals to Alice that he and Jake were the reigning SimCity Dog Show champions four years ago, until Diana DeBore and her dog Precious were able to beat them. Jake seems to be getting along with Alice's dog Sam Whitt during the story.
Jake returns later, when he and Otis give Alice and Sam the last bit of training before the dog show final.
After the story, Otis and Jake will be in the family bin, but with only 100 Simoleons. So in order to give the family a home, they have to be placed in an occupied residential lot and moved out to get a decent starting amount of Simoleons. Then they can be moved into their own house to live.
As far as personality goes, Jake is a genius, friendly, and pigpen dog. His main interests are Playtime and Food. Jake has maximized all of his equipment skills and learned all commands.
