Playability NPC

Hula Zombies are NPCs in The Sims 2 who usually appears when the Grim Reaper comes to take a dead Sim away. If an Elder reaches the end of his/her life and has a Platinum or Gold Aspiration level then the Grim Reaper comes with two Hula Zombies and hands the Elder a margarita and a suitcase. The Elder walks off and fades away, leaving an urn/tombstone.

Warning
Do not attempt to add Hula Zombies to a household, or try to turn them into a supernatural creature, such as a vampire or a werewolf. Doing so can cause game corruption, fixed only by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Trivia

  • Players can create her exact clone in CAS using testingcheatsenabled. She has the first premade face, medium skin color, black hair, light pink lipstick and green eyes.
  • The Hula Zombie looks very similar to Strangetown Bella Goth. It is because both of them use the same premade face and hair.
  • The Hula Zombies can be seen in the Specter family story-telling album.
  • When editing her in SimPE it says her gender is male. This is the same with Mrs. Crumplebottom. Changing it may corrupt the game.
    • The Hula Zombies also have 5 personality points in each bar, seen whilst viewing in SimPE.
  • Her character file is stored in the objects.package file, meaning that she is the same in all neighborhoods. This is also the same with Mrs. Crumplebottom and several other NPCs.
  • An elder thumbnail of her exists in the game files and can be found with SimPE.
  • As of the most recent expansion packs, the game will force an error whenever the player attempts to add her to a family, preventing the player from doing so.[clarification needed] Rod Humble also has this quirk.
