In the Sims 2 FreeTime expansion there is a secret lot for each hobby. Increasing a Sim's enthusiasm in the hobby to level 5 will reward them with access to a special secret lot. Instructors are NPCs that can be found on each of the secret lots and instruct Sims in their designated hobby. Sims can take other Sims with them to the hobby secret lots even if the invited Sim doesn't have access to the secret lot. Some hobby lots also contain items only normally available as career rewards.
