The high school is a lot assignment that can be found in The Sims 4: High School Years. There is one pre-made high school in Copperdale, the Copperdale High School, which has a size of 64x64 tiles.
Teens have the option to attend school at this lot during normal school hours, which will allow the player to actively control them similar to active careers. Otherwise, they will disappear to an off-world school like in the base game.
This lot type is hidden, and cannot be assigned to other lots by the player. Pre-made high schools cannot have their lot assignment changed. However, lots with this assignment are freely editable outside of school hours. In order to be functional, high schools require two toilets, two sinks, two whiteboards, a cafeteria station, a principal's desk, a loud speaker, eight student's desks, eight lockers, and two dining tables; placing more than two whiteboards and one cafeteria station will cause the extra whiteboards and cafeteria stations to be unused. While refrigerators and stoves are permitted to be placed in high schools, it is not recommended to do so, as Sims will autonomously order food from the cafeteria workers if their hunger need is low.
When saved to the Gallery, high schools will be saved as generic lots. Copperdale High School cannot be directly replaced with other lots from Manage Worlds; the player must first enter build mode and replace it from there.
