Heidi Shadows is a secret ninja featured in The Sims Bustin' Out (handheld) and The Urbz: Sims in the City (handheld). Her name is a pun on "hiding in the shadows," a stereotypical ninja behavior.
Biography[]
Life leading up to The Sims Bustin' Out[]
Heidi changes locations based on the time, and the Sim can buy objects from her. The following locations are where she can be found:
- On the right of a Japanese-style shrine southwest of Imperial Estates on Mondays from 11 PM to 12 AM (23:00-00:00)
- The northern corner of The Turing Labyrinth on Fridays from 3 AM to 4 AM.
She offers 8 objects for sale, one of each on each occasion she shows up:
- A rosebud flower (§100). Gives the player Sim §5,000, for a total gain of §4,900.
- Buff Berry (§500). Increases Body skill level by 1.
- Clock Berry (§500). Increases Mechanical skill level by 1.
- DaVinci Berry (§500). Increases Creativity skill level by 1.
- Gourmet Berry (§500). Increases Cooking skill level by 1.
- Mind Berry (§500). Increases Logic skill level by 1.
- Silver Tongue Berry (§500). Increases Charisma skill level by 1.
- A paper note whose only known distinctive feature is that its description focuses on the word "BUCKET". This would later turn out to be the secret entrance code to Club Xizzle in The Urbz: Sims in the City (handheld).
She sells a rosebud that will give §5,000 to the player when bought.
Life leading up to The Urbz: Sims in the City[]
Heidi sells different kinds of smoothies provided by the bayou twins, Bayou Boo and Crawdad Clem, that can add up the player's skill points. She also sells a slip of paper that has the Club Xizzle code and the recipe for strawberry tiramisu, which is important for the Artsie rep mission, written on it. Like Bustin' Out, there is a rosebud for sale that will give §2,222 to the player.
Her only mission appearance is Mission 5, Goal 3, Captured. You can find her at the Northwest corner of the carnival at any time of the day, where she will knock you out with a smoke bomb. Heidi is also seen at the end of the game in the Bayou with its respective characters.
Heidi can be found in various locations throughout the game:
- On November 29, 1984, from 1 AM to 2 AM.
- The Northwest corner of the Carnival from 2 AM to 3 AM.
- On the island near Paradise Island from 4 AM to 5 AM.
- The tunnel from the jail to the tree-trunk in the Bayou from 6 AM to 7 AM.
- On the lunar base from 10 AM to 11 AM.
