
Heavy sleeper is a physical trait in The Sims 3. It conflicts with the light sleeper trait and is first available at birth.
Heavy Sleepers will sleep through any situation, no matter how loud or alarming. They also tend to snore.

- Heavy sleepers can sleep through loud noises and crying youngsters.
- Be careful, your Sim might sleep through fires and burglaries.
- They usually snore while sleeping.

- Heavy sleepers can sleep through almost all sounds, including:
- Loud music.
- Crying youngsters.
- TVs.
- Stereos.
- Fires.
- Fire alarms.
- Burglars.
- Wall dancer pet toys.[TS3:P]
- Someone using a gem cutter.[TS3:SN]
- Megaphones.[TS3:UL]
- They can also sleep through certain non-noise effects:
- Heavy sleepers always have the option to sleep at work.
- If a stereo is playing in the room, heavy sleepers will still get the "Enjoying Music" moodlet if the source of the music is turned on before they sleep.
- Heavy sleepers will sleep for a longer period of time, much like Sims with the couch potato trait.
