Game interface (in Brazilian Portuguese) of a Grilled Cheese Sim
The Grilled Cheese aspiration is introduced in the expansion pack Nightlife as an undesirable and failure aspiration. All the want and fears are related to grilled cheese sandwiches. It is rumored to be inspired by Sims in Sims 2 cooking this sandwiches autonomously all the time. However, it might also be based on the tradition of giving the employees grilled cheese sandwiches to eat when there is a significant milestone in Maxis.
Grilled Cheese aspiration Sims will unlock an unique interaction which is talk.../About Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. This interaction will usually be rejected unless the target is a nice Sim or his/her aspiration is Grilled Cheese too.
The Grilled Cheese aspiration is rather unpopular, but is a good choice for players who want very simple wants to fulfill, as nearly all of them involve your sim or other sims eating grilled cheese.

Desperations
Grilled Cheese Sims have fears over burning grilled cheese sandwiches, or being rejected for talking about grilled sandwiches. When the aspiration bar stays at deep red for a long time, the Sim will draw Mr. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on a cardboard and kiss it.
Player stories
- Using the tombstone of L&D, I spawned a pregnancy for Natasha Una. Her family even didn't want her pregnant. When I came back to the lot, Natasha had a baby boy named Grilled!
- Through the ReNuYu Senso Orb I changed Nervous Subject's aspiration to Grilled Cheese!! It was perfect for him because he is such a loser. His wife Emma Stellar-Subject [I created her] is thinking about dumping him because he never pays attention to their kids Lydia, Austin and Emmett anymore and will only talk and think about grilled cheese sandwiches.
- I created a couple, Chester and Chelsea Cheeze, and deliberately let their aspirations fall low enough to make them into Grilled Cheese Sims! Although Chelsea's aspiration level was low green, she retained her Romance aspiration. Unfortunately, after the conversion, Chester lost all interest in WooHoo, almost putting Chelsea back into aspiration failure. As a result, she went on dates with the mailman, the headmaster, and the repairman. Chester was a better parent to her four little cuckoos than she was! Guess he knew they'd grow up to eat grilled cheese!
- I raised a child to a grilled cheese teenager and i had the parents infect the teen with lycanthropy. When i sent the teen off to college, where the teen lived on the roof eating, conjuring, and serving grilled cheese, thanks to the benefits of the hunger drop for werewolves. When he got out, he had over 100,000 aspiration points. (The max amount of aspiration points any sim can get is 327,670)
- I have had many sims who I didn't like the lifetime wants of. I forgot about Grilled Cheese Aspiration and find it kind of dumb. Being very young as I am, I took imediate action. I changed it, but it was very funny because their lifetime wants were to eat 200 grilled cheese sandwiches. :)
