Gretchen Chin is a member of the Bohemians from the Magic secret sub-neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. She appears in every neighborhood, being occasional the neighbor of Sims who live in a middle-low apartment. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Like all pre-made townies, Gretchen's relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game.
She is employed in the Culinary career as a Hostess at the start of the game. However her career will randomly change to match her social class, when she moves in as a neighbor or is searched as a possible roommate. As far as personality, Gretchen is very active and quite playful. But she is very sloppy, quite shy, and somewhat grouchy.
When it comes to her skills, Gretchen has 1 skill point in logic, and 2 in creativity, but she doesn't have any other skills. She is mostly interested in Weather and Paranormal. Gretchen has the same facial structure as Amber Pons. She shares her surname with Valerie Chin, but there is no evidence that the two of them are related.
