Greg Chomsky is a pre-made playable Sim residing in Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. He values fun and friendship most in life, neglecting personal hygiene in the process. Greg is Vincent Moore's best friend, who is asked to take care of his house during his absence. However, he leaves Vince's house in a big mess. Greg makes his first appearance in Vincent's story when he arrives at Vincent's house to apologize for not taking good care of it, and to give him a new computer to replace the old one that he broke. Vincent then hires a maid to clean up the mess that Greg made.

Later on, Greg invites Vincent to Baliwood Star Lanes with their friend Sherman Boggle. Greg and Sherman both think that Vincent's ex-girlfriend, Samantha Hayden, was only after his Simoleons. After bowling a bit, Greg notices Naomi Hunt, the barista. He suggests that Vincent meet her. Vincent goes there and orders coffee and meets Naomi. Later, Vincent plays pool with his friends, and Samantha shows up with her new boyfriend, Johnny Cullen. Vincent wants to make her jealous, so he flirts with some women but gets rejected by all of them. Samantha laughs at him and then leaves. After that, Vincent decides to go home, and Greg tells him that he signed him up for an e-dating service.

Later on in the story, Samantha hires Kendra Blaise to thank Vincent for a date they never had to trick Naomi into believing that Vincent is a womanizer, making them fall apart. A couple of days later, Greg telephones Vincent and tells him that he had managed to talk Naomi into giving Vincent another chance. Greg also suggests that Vincent should throw a party and invite him, Naomi, and Alexa Starr, a female Sim that Vincent had previously dated, whom Greg was taking a fancy to. On Greg's request, Vincent invites them all over to hang out at his pool.

Greg lives in 102 Mountain View and becomes playable from there at the end of the story. When the household is first played, he is 29 days from being an elder. He has the Popularity aspiration and the Libra zodiac sign. Greg has bottom fitness at the start of the game. Even though the storyline implies that Greg is starting to develop a relationship with Alexa, they are usually marked as "Just Met" when either of them is first played. Greg has the memory of meeting an Unknown Sim, presumably an earlier version of Vincent, as a result of deletion. He has preset Best Friend relationships with Sherman and Vincent; however, he has a 49-point LTR with Sherman, while Sherman has a 50 LTR with Greg; this will result in them losing Best Friend status only to relatively quickly reestablish it, resulting in some annoyance in the memories. Greg has no skills, like almost all playable Bitville Sims; however, he has an extremely negligible 0.03 points in Cooking as opposed to all others being at 0. His family bio states he is the lowest-paid male in Bitville, but like all Sims aside from Vincent, he is unemployed. He would have to be in the Culinary career or Slacker career at level 1 for this statement to be true.
